Feng Chia University launched its 2024 Campus Recruitment and Career Matching Fair today (5th), continuing through the 6th, with event hours running from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Over one hundred companies are on campus providing corporate introductions and outlining their talent needs. Students may submit résumés on-site or participate in immediate interviews. In addition, 27 pre‑registered interview sessions and 13 corporate information sessions are scheduled across the two‑day event. Altogether, companies participating in the fair are offering nearly 6,200 job openings, with an average monthly salary range of NT$36,000 to NT$72,000, giving students abundant opportunities to secure ideal positions on the spot.

The winners of the 11th Taichung Urban Space Design Award, organized by the Urban Development Bureau of Taichung City Government, were announced on January 19, with a grand award ceremony held at The Lin Hotel Taichung. Among more than a hundred competing projects, Feng Chia University’s Jing‑Tsai Residence Hall stood out and received the Excellence in Architectural Space Award. Vice President Guo‑Hao Tang and Dean of Student Affairs Hui‑Kuang Yu attended the ceremony, with Vice President Tang representing the University in accepting the honor.

Feng Chia University’s Humanities and Technology Grand Lecture Series invited renowned director Hsiao‑Li Wang—winner of five Golden Bell Awards and one Golden Horse Award—to speak on campus on November 23. With over 40 years of experience as a director, screenwriter, and producer, Wang is known for his exceptional storytelling and his keen ability to observe the lives of people at the margins of society. Through drama, he brings to light the many facets of Taiwanese society, often revealing deeply touching human stories.
